As funny as it may seem, homeschooling was on my heart long before I started the kids out in a public school. If I remember correctly I vented to ya’ll about it in a blog when Abram first started Kindergarten. I was confused as to what I was suppose to do and ended up allowing Abram to pick because I was not going to crush his dreams of being in a classroom with all his friends!
But here we ALL are…. homeschooling anyways! Thankfully my eagerness to homeschool a year ago had me buying up several items that we are able to use now. I’ll share them and some links with you to hopefully help ya’ll while we push through this school year.

Bendon Workbooks! I came across these workbooks at Target just a few weeks before school started and we are loving all activities and different subjects they have to offer! I couldn’t find a link for these exact ones, but I attached some that are similar.

Wipe Clean Boards! I also found these in the Target Dollar Spot when school first started. I couldn’t find them on Targets website but luckily found a set on Amazon!

Unifix Cubes! These have worked wonders for both of my kids when we are working on anything math related! They also play with them during playtime. 2-in-1’s are always the best.

Learning Mats. There’s tons of different learning mats to choose from, but we love these Melissa & Doug learning mats and they are super easy to keep clean (as long as you use the recommended crayons).

Dry erase pocket sleeves! I actually found our pocket sleeves at a local Dollar Tree, but since we are all stuck at home I attached a link for some! These guys are worth every penny and will save you tons of ink in the long run.

Alytimes Counting Sticks. Math is hands down our favorite subject and this counting set will grow with them for several years! Abram is a big fan of this one right now and that makes teaching math a breeze.

Play Money Set. We have a Bendon workbook just for identifying and counting money and we’re excited to use this set when we get started!

ABC Banner. The one thing I will always remember about elementary school is having a cheat sheet for my alphabet! These are the best and of course I found my in the Target Dollar Spot but here’s one from Oriental Trading and I linked it below.

Stay home. Stay healthy. Stay smart!
