Siblings sharing a room is a mess in itself, however when you have multi-gender siblings sharing a room it’s a whole other issue when trying to decorate. I wanted to give the kids a room they were both comfortable in, yet had some fun playful colors. So here we go!
I started out with a a color they both enjoy… YELLOW! Their quilts and pillow shams are both solid yellow giving the room a good base color without being too busy from the start.

Throw pillows are my favorite way to add color and texture to any room in the house! After picking the next two pops of color (one for Abram and one for Ellie) I started shopping for throw pillows. Of course Ellie loves pink so I went with a soft blush for her color. And since Abram loves blue, navy seemed like the perfect pairing!
We now have yellow, blush, and navy… and it is perfect!!

To pull the space together I went with some neutral wall art and curtains!
I also love hanging the kids artwork in spaces when I can.
Exciting news! After finding everything for their room… I found the most perfect rug for their space! You have to click the link below to believe me. It has all the colors I picked out from the start (no better way to get clarity!!!).

I hope this helps and motivates you to create a fun playful space for the kiddos in your life!!!
