Bringing a gift basket together!

I absolutely love gifting with gift baskets and that’s probably because it’s another creative outlet for me. House warming gift baskets are my all time favorite! I’m not the friend that will look at your registry (I’m so sorry)… I’m just too spaced out and crazy for that kind of thing and I normally forget all about them!

So here’s some items I try to include when I’m pulling a house warming gift together. (I’ll add as many links as I can at the end to help you with your next house warming gift.)

A large strainer. I like to use this as the “gift bag” to put everything in! It saves you a few dollars and it’s a useful item.

A muffin pan! Adding a muffin pan, bread pan, or any other small pan gives another bigger item in the basket.

Cutting boards. I love wooden cutting boards right now, so I would be including a few different sizes of these! These also make for the perfect kitchen decorations.

Measuring cups. At Walmart they have the cutest miniature measuring cup that actually measures teaspoons and tablespoons for you! This is the perfect size to add to this gift!

Coasters. I love to add small house items that they’ll be able to use in other spaces of their home! Make sure that these items are neutral or find out the color scheme of their home.

Cooking utensils. This is something you can get creative with. I love stainless steel and wooden cooking utensils!

Kitchen towels. I always try to find a neutral kitchen towel with a quote or saying on it that reflects the couple in some way. If I can’t find the perfect one, I find one that could go in any home!

Salt & pepper shakers. Find a clear or neutral salt and pepper shaker set and add it in.

A small faux plant. I keep faux plants all year long as decorations in my house because I just haven’t master keeping real plants alive longer than a few months…

Hand held can opener. Of course an automatic can opener is ideal… But when it decides to bite the dust it’s good to have a back up!

A candle. Everyone loves a good candle and you can never have too many. I personally only buy white candles because they match everything in my house and I’m OCD about these kinds of things… so you’ll always get white candles from me!

Seal it off with some fun ribbon and a cute card! Ta-da!
